"Our goal is to have each girl in the Ridgewood High School softball program get a business, whether it be local or not, to sponsor the success of the high school teams. We are asking that each sponsor pay a $2 minimum for each program win, although any donation is appreciated.

We have already been going around asking local businesses for their support, and we will continue to go around and ask for the next few weeks. At the end of the season, we will be going back to the sponsors and collecting the money all of which will be given to the Tomorrows Children's Fund (TCF), which is located at the Hackensack University Medical Center. TCF is a tax deductible organization that treats kids with cancer and serious blood disorders, and we are hoping to raise as much money as we can to present to them at the end of the season.

Playing to win is fun, but winning for a cause is the most rewarding."
